Description

Acourtia glandulifera (also called Desert peony, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It has a basal rosette of leaves and a single stem with a few branches. The leaves are lanceolate and have a white woolly texture. The flowers are white and have five petals. It grows in dry, sandy soils in desert scrub and chaparral habitats.
