Description
Artemisia frigida (also called Fringed Sagebrush, among many other common names) is a perennial shrub native to the western United States and northern Mexico. It grows in dry, rocky soils in deserts, chaparral, and grasslands. It has a woody base and grows up to 1 m tall. Its leaves are gray-green and covered with short, white hairs. Its flowers are yellow and bloom from April to June.
