Description
Eupatorium amabile (also called 'Eupatorium', 'Joe-Pye Weed' and 'Gravel Root', among many other common names) is an herbaceous perennial that grows up to 1.5 m tall. It is native to North America and is found in moist meadows, thickets, and along streambanks. Its leaves are opposite, lanceolate, and up to 15 cm long. Its flowers are pinkish-purple and clustered in large, flat-topped heads.
