Lactuca muralis (also called wall lettuce, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Europe and Asia. It has a rosette of leaves with a basal rosette of long, narrow, toothed leaves and a stem with a single flower head. It grows in dry, sunny places such as rocky slopes, walls and meadows.
