Lomanthus infernalis (also called 'Infernalis' or 'Infernalis Tree Fern', among many other common names) is an evergreen tree fern native to the western United States and Canada. It has a spreading crown and a straight trunk with smooth, green leaves. It grows in moist, well-drained soils in open woods, along streams, and in floodplains.
