Saussurea pratensis (also called 'Meadow Sow-thistle', among many other common names) is an herbaceous perennial plant that is native to Europe and Asia. It has a basal rosette of oblong leaves and produces yellow flowers in summer. It prefers moist, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade.
