Townsendia annua (also called 'Townsendia', 'Townsendia annua', 'Townsendia annua var. annua', 'Townsendia annua var. calycina', 'Townsendia calycina' among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the daisy family. It is native to the Mediterranean region and is found in dry, rocky habitats. It is a low-growing, mat-forming, evergreen perennial with small, linear, grey-green leaves and solitary, yellow daisy-like flowers in summer.
