Alysicarpus salim-alii (also called Salim Ali's Alysicarpus, among many other common names) is a small, erect, annual herb native to India and Sri Lanka. It has a slender stem and small, ovate leaves. The flowers are small and white, and the fruits are small, round, and black. It prefers dry, open habitats and is often found in grasslands and scrub.
