Description

Havardia platyloba (also called Broadleaf Havardia, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree native to Central and South America. It has a greyish-brown bark and grows up to 10 meters in height. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist forests, as well as in disturbed areas.
