Description
Cattleya mingaensis (also called Cattleya mingaensis, among many other common names) is a species of orchid in the family Orchidaceae. It is a terrestrial orchid, with a single stem up to 30 cm tall, bearing several large, showy flowers. It is native to tropical South America, from Colombia and Venezuela south to Bolivia and Paraguay. It grows in humid tropical forests, at elevations of up to 1000 m.
