Description
Dendrobium confluens (also called 'Confluent Dendrobium' and 'Confluens Rock Orchid', among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to India, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia. It has short, thick pseudobulbs and long, thin, pointed leaves. It grows in humid, tropical forests, usually in the upper canopy of trees.
Cultivation and Propagation
Dendrobium confluens is a tropical orchid that can be grown in a variety of climates. It can be propagated by division or by seed. It prefers bright, indirect light and should be watered regularly. Fertilizer should be applied every two weeks during the growing season.
