Epidendrum patentifolium (also called Patent-leaved Epidendrum, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid native to South America. It grows up to 1 m tall and has ovate leaves. It is found in wetter areas of the Atlantic Forest, such as swamps and marshes.
