Epidendrum pendens (also called Hanging Epidendrum, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to Central and South America. It has long, pendulous stems with ovate-lanceolate leaves and yellow, fragrant flowers. It grows in humid, shady forests, often on trees.
