Description
Epidendrum pentadactylum (also called Five-fingered Epidendrum, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to Central and South America. It has long, pendulous stems with ovate-lanceolate leaves and white, fragrant flowers. It grows in humid, shady forests, often on trees.

Epidendrum pentadactylum is an epiphytic orchid species that is native to Mexico, Central America, and South America. It is found in moist, shady forests from sea level to elevations of 1,500 meters. It can be propagated by division or by seed. It prefers bright, indirect light and should be grown in a well-draining, chunky potting mix. Water regularly and keep the soil lightly moist, but not soggy. Feed with a balanced fertilizer during the growing season.
