Description

Epidendrum ruizianum (also called Ruiz's Epidendrum, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. It has an erect stem, up to 40 cm tall, with alternate, linear-lanceolate leaves, up to 10 cm long and 1 cm wide. It blooms in the spring and summer, with yellow flowers, up to 1 cm wide.
