Description
Epidendrum sanderi (also called Sander's Epidendrum, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. It has an erect stem, up to 30 cm tall, with alternate, lanceolate leaves, up to 8 cm long and 1 cm wide. It blooms in the spring and summer, with yellow flowers, up to 1 cm wide.

Epidendrum sanderi has small, white flowers with yellowish-green sepals and petals. The seeds are small, round, and black. The seedlings have small, oval-shaped leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Epidendrum sanderi is a terrestrial orchid native to Central and South America. It is easy to cultivate and propagate. It prefers a warm, humid environment with bright, indirect light. The plant should be watered regularly, but not too often. It should be fertilized every two weeks during the growing season. Propagation is done by division of the rhizomes.
