Description
Eulophia brevipetala (also called Short-Petalled Eulophia, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to tropical Africa. It has a single, thick, leathery leaf and a short, branched inflorescence with many small, white flowers. It grows in moist, shady forests, often in the canopy of trees.
Cultivation and Propagation
Eulophia brevipetala can be propagated by division in spring or autumn. Plant the divisions in a well-drained, humus-rich soil in a sunny or partially shaded position. Water regularly during the growing season and keep the soil moist but not soggy.
