Description
Habenaria brevidens (also called 'Short-Toothed Habenaria', among many other common names) is a terrestrial orchid species native to the Canary Islands. It has an erect stem, up to about 25 cm tall, with two to four leaves. The flowers are white, with a yellowish-green labellum. It grows in humid, shady places, such as laurel forests.

Habenaria brevidens has small, white flowers with yellow-green lips. The seed is a small, round, black seed with a white center. The seedlings are small, with a single pair of leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Habenaria brevidens is a terrestrial orchid that can be grown in a pot or in the ground. It prefers a well-draining, humus-rich soil and a sunny spot. Propagation is by division of the rhizomes or by seed.
