Description
Lepanthes ferax (also called 'Robust Lepanthes', among many other common names) is a small, epiphytic orchid species with an upright stem and a single leaf. It is native to Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela, and is found in montane rainforests at elevations of 1,000-2,500 m. It grows on trees, rocks, and mossy banks.

The flower of Lepanthes ferax is small, with a yellowish-green color and a white lip. The seed is small and round, and the seedlings are small and thin.
Cultivation and Propagation
Lepanthes ferax is an epiphytic orchid native to Colombia. It can be grown in a pot or mounted on a tree. It prefers a well-draining, humus-rich soil and partial shade. Propagation is done through division of the rhizomes or by seed. The seeds should be sown on a moist, sterile medium and kept at a temperature of 20-25°C.
