Description

Prosthechea prismatocarpa (also called Prismatocarpa Butterfly Orchid, among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Central America. It has a single, erect, leafless stem that grows to a height of up to 40 cm. The flowers are white in color and have a waxy texture. It is found in humid forests, usually in the understory of trees.
